SEASON 9 Begins

Season 9 starts on Wednesday 6th March for Division 1 and Thursday 7th March for Division 2.

With a 10-round calendar including street tracks such as Monaco, Las Vegas and Jedah, alongside some usual favourites and some “not often” raced on tracks. A variety of Speed and Technical ability will be needed, not to mention tactics and a bit of luck.

A shake up in the divisions has meant we have 2 very competitive divisions for season 9, our last on the F1 23 game before F1 24 is released. This could be one of our most hotly contested seasons yet.

With many drivers in each division capable of winning, this really is a season where consistency could be a major deciding factor in the destination of the championship.

The Drivers have been allocated and Teams/Teammates chosen ready for the season opener in Bahrain.

Division 1

Defending Division 2 Champion EvanM02 will be looking for back-to-back titles and is joined this season at Red Bull by XaviSRD. We also have defending D3 Champion BeniBunno in the Mercedes after promotion and a reshuffle, he teams up with Kavolis.

With the likes of Brandonn,, nxxhonwkey, DKMN Athanaiou, Lil_Mikey, Nellboy, Wazza,J_Hayward, Maridako, Relliott, Gooner and a few others are more than capable of battling at the front, so we should see a good competitive season where consistency could well be the deciding factor.

The constructor’s championship will also be exciting as although Aston Martin start as marginal favourites, they will be pushed very hard by the likes of Williams, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, Red Bull, Mercedes and Haas. Again, there is no 1 team that stands head and shoulders above, so consistency will be Key.

Division 2

With defending Champion BeniBunno promoted to the top tier, HammersUK will start the season as favourite. HE again teams up with Bogarovski in a repeat of last seasons D2 Constructors Champions, but this season will ply their trade with McLaren.

The main challenge will come from Brothers Paqman and Bezerk teaming up in the Ferraris. Both have immense pace and will no doubt be battling at the front more often than not. Bobspun, Bogarovski and Hummer with a few others also have the pace to trouble the front group in what is another tight, even division. Dont count out the old guards of Composite and Skipper either.

The constructors Championship looks like a battle between the Ferrari team and the McLaren team. Logically, these drivers will score points often and consistently to be the 2 teams out front, but this is F1 23, anything can happen……..and usually does.

Red Bull, Williams and Aston Martin will be there or thereabouts and will be ready to punce on any opportunity that comes their way. Again, an open division with drivers capable of turning up on the day and upsetting the odds.

An exciting Season is before us.
